If you love color and modern art you’ll love nhow London, the East London hotel filled with quirky details. nhow London hotel was named one of the Best Hotels in London 2022 by The Times for the quirky design and fun interior. I stayed for two nights to see what all the hype was about, and let me tell you, it was one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever stayed in.
East London is easily one of my favorite parts of London as it’s filled with lively rooftop cocktail bars, vibrant street art, cool markets, edgy hipsters, traditional pubs, and live music. Not to mention it’s a stones throw away from Muhib, our favorite curry house on Brick Lane. nhow London hotel is located between Hoxton, Islington and Shoreditch and is a short walk from Angel or Old Street station.

The outside is quite ordinary, but once you walk through the doors you’re given a warm welcome by lovely staff. The bold and playful decor looks as though Andy Warhol and Banksy had a hotel baby. The lobby is welcoming and uniquely decorated with an inclined Big Ben, beefeater chairs, and a model of the London eye – all paying homage to my motherland. The open bar in the middle of the lobby complete with seating area filled with comfy sofas and armchairs, is a perfect spot to relax after walking the streets of London, and the old school Space Invader machine is a lovely touch.
nhow London hotel is also filled with extras to help make your stay feel like home. There’s a state of the art gym on the basement level filled with modern cardio equipment and free weights. Each room has a huge flat-screen TV and a dedicated working space to use if needed, and the hotel bar and restaurant serve British classics all-day long. Each morning there’s a delicious breakfast buffet with continental options, a ‘Full English’ and fresh fruit and pastries, and the kitchen is open until 10pm each night.
Our room was spacious with a HUGE comfy bed and pillows, and the complimentary mini-bar providing tea, coffee and water was a lovely touch. It was spotlessly clean and considering the location, I couldn’t help but notice how quiet the rooms are. The real wow factor of this hotel however is the staff. During our stay they were always polite, friendly and helpful.
nhow London hotel stands out with its unique look and feel, and if you’re looking for a COOL hotel with a difference, this is the place for you. If you enjoy color, British memorabilia and modern art, you’ll be thrilled with your stay at this eclectic East London hotel.
