Annie The Musical – Broadway in Hollywood

Live theatre creates a special energy between artist and audience, and the beauty of live theatre is each performance is a unique experience, creating memories that last a lifetime. It’s unpredictable, emotional, and beautiful to see incredibly talented artists giving us everything they have night after night. I attended the opening night of “Annie’ at the Dolby Theatre in the heart of Hollywood, and it was as timeless and adorable as ever.annie at the DOlby theatre
This sweet and perfect family musical is filled with the classics we know and love: “Maybe,” “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile,” “I Don’t Need Anything But You” and the heartwarming “Tomorrow.” The themes of holding on to hope and determination during tough times felt more relevant than ever, as I lost myself in the fabulous score, costumes, acting, and impressive dance numbers.

The cast was simply fantastic and the magic of the emotional encore stands the test of time as our favorite Orphan Annie reminds us that sunshine is always around the corner if we hold onto hope.
