Buca di Beppo: Where Friends and Family Gather!

You know what they say; ‘the days are long and the years are short’, and each year I celebrate my boys birthdays, I can’t help but feel that tug of nostalgia. Now they’re young adults they are constantly hungry, and even though we love to feed them, we are always on the hunt for restaurants that can feed them without breaking the bank.

When it comes to bringing loved ones together, Buca di Beppo truly understands the meaning of ” Ma famiglia.”  We recently visited the Redondo Beach location to celebrate Julian’s birthday and it turned out to be the perfect choice. We were able to satisfy hungry boys, create special family memories, and we were taken back to our time spent in Rome with Buca’s Traditional Italian Chianti.

Family-Style Dining

• Salmon Sorrento: Served with Lemon butter sauce, Roma tomatoes, arugula & capers. This dish is a lighter alternative to the fried entrees, yet equally delicious.

• Chicken Parmigiana: Tender chicken cutlets, marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella were a huge hit. It’s comfort food at its finest.

• Apple Gorgonzola Salad: Granny Smith apples, spiced walnuts, dried cranberries & Gorgonzola tossed with mixed lettuce in their signature Italian vinaigrette. This is their most popular salad on the menu and is bursting with flavor and looks so pretty!

The icing on the cake (pardon the pun) is the dessert selection. Buca Di Beppo offers a FREE Colossal Brownie Sundae, valued at $18.99 when you choose to celebrate your birthday with them! The entire staff brings it to the table singing, ensuring your birthday celebration is filled with memories (and for some slight embarrassment!)

There’s also plenty of desserts for the rest of the family to enjoy, and we finished our evening with the Dolce Platter. This platter offers a selection of their house favorites: Tiramisu, Double Dark Chocolate Cake, Homemade Cheesecake & Italian Crème Cake. We were literally stuffed at this point, and the BEST part is that the staff are so happy to pack up anything you don’t eat to send home with you.
