Africa feels like somewhere I’ve only just scratched the surface of. It’s not one place you “do” in a single trip, as there’s just too much variety. Safaris and wildlife, yes, but also cities, coastline, wine regions, deserts, and islands. Every country feels completely different.
We’ve loved the mix so far. South Africa for the scenery, food, and wine (which was a lovely surprise), Morocco for the Sahara and that sense of stepping into somewhere entirely different. It makes you realize how much is still left to see.
If you’re planning a trip to Africa and want something even more memorable, there’s so much beyond the obvious. Gorilla trekking, remote safaris, quiet island stays… Africa is one of those places I know I’ll keep coming back to.
