You know what they say, you can take the girl out of England, but you can’t take the England out of the girl. And that’s why I was delighted to learn about The London West Hollywood‘s London Libations Hour.
It’s literally a slice of home right here in the heart of LA-LA Land, and I can’t wait to spill the tea (or should I say gin) on why it’s my new favorite place for Happy Hour with my besties.
The London Libations Hour is a gin-lover’s paradise with a Los Angeles twist. It runs Tuesday-Friday from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm, and features a lovely selection of gin cocktails. From a classic G & T to more fancy handcrafted cocktail concoctions, their mixologists have you covered with their top-notch selection.
The London Libations Hour classic British bar bites pass the taste-test for me. The menu is filled with traditional delights such as Toad in the Hole, Fish and Chips that are fried to perfection, and a decadent Sticky Toffee pudding. Just reading the menu options literally takes me straight back home; it’s comfort food at its finest.
Of course you can also find traditional bar snacks on the menu such as a beautiful charcuterie board and home-made pita with fresh hummus topped with crunchy garbanzo beans.
The London Libations Hour is more than a happy hour for me. It’s where I’ll go to indulge in the finest gin cocktails, belly laugh with my girlfriends, and savor classic British bar bites when I’m craving the comforts of home. If you’re a fellow Brit living in Los Angeles like me, or just someone who loves a solid G & T and some authentic British nibbles, I encourage you to experience the London Libations Hour for yourself.
